I don't want to go home for holiday break. I'd much rather stay at Hogwarts. It's not very fun at home, and mother makes me uncomfortable sometimes.
She says some really mean things, especially to my friends during my birthday. And to me, as well. It doesn't seem like the sort of thing a mother should do.
But she does love me. She's always telling me that. It makes me feel like an awful daughter that I don't want to go home to her, but at the same time, I'm starting to wonder if the trouble isn't with me.

So, we're postponing music club until Professor Iroh is all settled. That was... Really upsetting.
Other than that and Billy ending up in the Hospital Wing, things are alright. My costume is coming along well -- How about the rest of you? I can help anyone with sewing if they need it.

I was singing today, practicing for music club to start, and... My hair started glowing.
No big deal. Just.

It looked pretty, actually.

I have so much to write about!
First off, Billy Harris and I have started the music club back up! Professor Iroh is our advisor. I'm not sure exactly when we'll be meeting yet, but it'll be great -- It's for anyone who plays an instrument or sings or writes songs or music or wants to learn any of that! I'll keep everyone updated!
And I've been working on another drawing in here...

Oh! And Amelia reminded me... It's almost October! That means Halloween! I wonder what I should do this year... Making a costume is always so much fun!
I'll have to make time for it, though, with homework. I'm starting to see why Fifth Year is tricky, especially with studying more for OWLs. Or is it that the professors are giving more homework to all years these days? Or... Perhaps summer just spoiled me.

I've noticed people writing about something weird going on with the journals, and I've noticed it, too. I just don't know what it is.
It's very strange.
Other than that, my summer has been quiet so far... But that's not a bad thing! I've done plenty of art projects, and spent time with Mother, which is always nice.

I am apparently not going to be home for most of July third. Not a big deal, since summer is slow anyway, buuut.
People who have characters going to Rapunzel's party, would you be alright with starting the log on the second and forward-dating it, and then just.. Backtagging if needed? I. Guess it's just my OCD, but I rather but up the log early than late.

My birthday is in four days, and my party is going to be in five days! I know this is really last minute, but my mum finally decided on how many people I can invite today -- She even let me invite boys this year!
So, would you lot like to come? I understand if people are busy, especially Sana since you have acting and Roxas since you're doing that tournament, but if anyone can come, I'd love to have you here!
