Regina Gothel	Rapunzel used to have a great deal of dependency on her mother, despite her mother's frequent put-downs and mistreatment. After a truth serum was leaked and Rapunzel finally confessed about just how unhappy her mother made her, the words of her friends have helped her realize her home life is far from the best. At the moment, though, Rapunzel has no idea how to handle that.
Pascal	Rapunzel's pet frog, (not toad), and dear companion. Pascal is the one Rapunzel can go to with any secret or trouble or anything. Sure, he's a frog, but that just makes him a better listener!
Amelia Kirkland	Amelia may be the same year as Rapunzel, but Rapunzel thinks of her as so very worldly, and particularly good for advice on boys! Beyond that, though, Amelia is quite simply a good friend.
Applejack Smith	Best listener -- After Pascal, of course. Applejack is in Rapunzel's house and year, so naturally the two know each other. Rapunzel admires Applejack's inner strength.
Billy Harris	Ah, Billy. Rapunzel is quite taken with him. His awkward ways are endearing to her, and she loves his voice... But even more, his determination to help her. Rapunzel snuck away to visit Billy over holiday break, and upon return her mother gave the boy as much verbal abuse as she could manage. Since then, Rapunzel's been a tad distant, worried about getting Billy in further trouble.
Cassie Ainsworth	After Pascal and tied with Billy, Cassie is Rapunzel's best friend. She's vaguely aware that there's something off with Cassie, but she hasn't been able to bring up the nerve to broach the subject. Instead, she enjoys Cassie's imagination and kindness. She doesn't think of Cassie as spacey, really, just that she thinks differently than others.
Galen Marek	Rapunzel wants to hate Galen, she really does, but she can't shake the feeling that something horrible has to happen to someone before they become that awful. She wishes to help him, but she's never pursued this particularly strongly, or been at all lucky. Unfortunately, Rapunzel is starting to give up on him and will probably be tougher when talking to him in the future.
Gamzee Makara	Gamzee is a strange little third year boy, but Rapunzel's oddly fond of talking to him, just because it's so different and strange. It's a nice break from reality, almost.
Iroh	Rapunzel's favorite professor and the head of her house, Iroh is the loving adult figure Rapunzel never had. She respects the man greatly and was sure to help him when his office was burned.
Karkat Vantas	Rapunzel knew of Karkat, sort of, in that she'd heard him yelling once or twice, but she didn't meet him until the boy was being picked on in the library for his taste in books. By the time Rapunzel noticed what was going on, Karkat was defending himself, but a Hufflepuff -- this Hufflepuff, at least -- can't help but... Help. Rapunzel made steps to try to befriend the boy.
Mami Tomoe	Mami doesn't seem too intent on friendship, but that doesn't stop Rapunzel from being extremely fond of the girl who was so kind to her when she was recovering from the shock of winter holiday. Mami further helped Rapunzel see she deserved to be treated well by her mother. Rapunzel thinks Mami has wisdom and maturity beyond her years.
Rose Lalonde	Psuedo-therapist. Rapunzel feels she can't get a good read on Rose, which makes her a bit uneasy, but she talked to her about her mother issues during the truth event and was glad to have someone to open up to. She'll definitely have an eye out for Rose in the future, both in case Rapunzel needs someone to talk to again, and in case Rose ever needs Rapunzel to return the favor.
Roxanne Ritchi	Another Gryffindor in Rapunzel's year who Rapunzel is fond of. She looks up to Roxanne because Roxanne comes across as so brave and smart, but she also likes the girl's caring side, such as when she made sure she was okay after not hearing from her over winter holidays.
Xion	Sweetiepie fourth year in Rapunzel's house who likes Rapunzel's hair. Rapunzel trusts Xion enough to let her play with it, too! She'd love to get to know Xion better, but they are already close enough that Rapunzel considers Xion a friend.
